The book arrived safely in Switzerland. I'll bring it NeedSun in Canada personally when we meet at the BC Convention in April. :-)
That was a fast, fun and entertaining read! It reminded me of these little booklets I used to buy at the Newsstand when I was a Teen, I think they were called "Mystery"... The ones my mother hated seeing me read, because they were - in her eyes - just trash. But who cares what my mother said, I loved them anyways! ;-)
"The Mediator Book 1" was a typical Teen-story and Suze is so wonderfully sassy! Plus, I could completely understand the way she felt when she moved to California. I felt the same way when I was there for the first time...
Actually I'm looking forward to read more about Father Dom, Suze's stepbrothers and of course Jesse! I'm curious what the extend of his story is! (off to add the following books to my wishlist...)
Now comes the best part (and I know I already said so, but I just wanted to say it again because it's so cool): I'll give this book personally to NeedSun next week in Toronto! *jumpingaroundallexcited*
Thanks for sharing Ulrika!

Morgaine77 did hand this to me at the 2006 Toronto Bookcrossing Convention. It looks like a really fun read. I have a few bookrings to read before I can get to it but I am sure it won't be too long before it is back on the road.
Thanks Morgaine for bringing this to the convention and to you Ulrika for starting the bookring.

Cute fast fun read. Thanks so much for sharing this book.
I have this book and Spirit Warriors in an envelope for Cherie. Hopefully, I will get to the postoffice today.
Edit June 2: Sent by air today (along with a little surprise for Cherie)

Got this in the mail from NeedSun today. Thank you sweetie, for the extra gift the package too! My pale skin thanks you too. :) (Here in the US, we don't have as good chemical UVA sunscreens as are available in Canada and Europe.) And thanks to Ulrika for inserting me into this ring, which I hadn't known of, when I saw this book with NeedSun while I was visiting her in April. :)
I've got a few ring and swap books to get to before this, but should be able to start on it within the next few weeks.

I really enjoyed this book. So much so that I'm going to add the rest of the series to my wishlist too. :) It was a quick, cute read... Meg obviously writing in the teen and young adult genre since she writes the Princess Diary books too. (I've never read the books though I like the 2 movies I saw.)
I was glad to see Meg's self esteem pick up a bit later in the book, since in the beginning she always seemed to think herself not worthy of having many friends. However, I believe a person's worth to others is only as strong as that which they see in themselves, so a negative self impression is more hurtful to a girl's popularity than anything else.
This book also made me realize that the books I like best always have a strong female (or male) lead; I found myself not liking Suze that much at the beginning of the book, but began to admire her more as she became more sure of herself.
This will be on it's way to Rianonne this week. I'll update this entry with the specifics when it's mailed.
UPDATE 25-JUN-2006: Mailed to Rianonne on 26-Jun-2006 via Global Priority Mail #LZ864200386US. (This was actually cheaper than both regular airmail and surface.)

Arrived safe and sound in Vienna today!
As there are some other Rings infront of this one, I am afraid it will take some time till I come around to reading it.
