In the post to aunt-sophie today. Bon voyage!
Received from FeralReader today as part of a relay. Thanks! I've heard much good about Patricia Cornwell, I'll be curious to read one of her books!
Well, I could not really get into this book, after all. Maybe I should have started by one of her Kay Scarpetta books, which are supposed to her best.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
I was curious to see 2 books on an unoccupied sofa in our office building lobby so picked them up, chose Patricia Cornwell's 'Hornet's Nest' and I left the novel about vampires for somebody else. I liked the idea of a gift from an anonymous source and gave this author a chance. I enjoyed the book - it's fast paced, imaginative (a cat's inner thoughts helps the plot along at one point!), strong female characters - though it does end abruptly I found. Anyhow, for my part in BookCrossings, I plan to try to make the book travel (I may ask someone going on a trip to drop it off at the airport, or a summer student to bring it home with her to another province, etc)
Did not read the book but handed off to my mother who's travelling to Toronto, then to North Carolina, and then eventually back to Edmonton with my father and brother. She says she will probably leave it at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota and will read it on route.
