This isn't lacking any of Whedon's trademarks: a girl with super powers, biting comic relief and the use of new though oddly familiar lingo.

The story follows Fray, a young girl with un-natural powers. She makes her living stealing until she receives a strange visitor with even stranger news: She's a vampire hunter. We get a glimpse of what this future world is like and what happened to the last vampire hunter and in the process, Fray has to save the city.

The characters are sleek and the colours vivid. A highly recommended read.
