This looked like an interesting read so I brought it home to join my stack of books. I'll journal again after I read it.

I read this one as part of my 2007 Keep It Moving Challenge to myself. I'm working my way through books that were registered by other BookCrossers.
This one has an interesting premise. Annie G. Freeman has died and planned her own funeral. She has arranged for her friends to visit places that were important to her during her life, leaving some of her ashes in each place. The ashes arrive in a pair of red high top sneakers.
This is a novel of female friendship.
It seemed to me that the author tried to cram too much into one book. It didn't make me want to go out and look for other books by the same author.
