Different cover than pictured. My sister picked this up for me at a used book store.
I read almost all of Murakami's novels and I began to get tired of his formula style of writing. This collection of short stories was simply amazing however. Short stories are his format! I really liked the erie story BARN BURNING.

Found this book in a ravine at the base of a lookout on Bear Mt. State Park.
Book was not in good shape, but was restored and placed in readable form.
It was read and enjoyed while traveling south to a warm and comfortable climate in the Bahamas
It was left in the reception office of the Ocean Reef Yacht Club in Freeport/Lucaya upon my return to the USA (2/3/07)
CAUGHT IN BEAR MT. NEW YORK USA
