At times very funny, strained humour at other times. As over-the-top as the Xes and their ilk are, I can believe that there are people like this. I babysat for a woman once who, while not nearly rivalling the Xes, definitely had some very similar hang-ups (I was given the foot-long list of allergies and 'dislikes,' was called in when child was sick or dog was post-operative, experience the icy 'why didn't/did you do that?' reaction to something I was never told to do or not to do, etc.). So I could commiserate with Nanny, but not to the point where I couldn't laugh at her situation ;)
