Back again, for the delectation of all, are the calamity-prone residents of 28 Barbary Lane, San Francisco. The divinely human comedy that began with Tales of the City rolls recklessly along as Michael Tolliver pursues his favorite gynecologist, Mona Ramsey uncovers her roots in a desert whorehouse, and Mary Ann Singleton finds love at sea with the amnesiac of her dreams.

Just as with the first book in the series, I had SO much fun with this tale! Maupin is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. He has such a great talent for making you laugh/cry/tense up all at once, and literally grip the pages!
