I couldn't put Persepholis down. I loved the clear black and white art and the bird's eye view into a society fraught with revolution, repression, and change.
I wonder if that could happen here in the U.S.? Thought provoking, human, emotional, and yet objectively told bio tale of her childhood years in Iran after the revolution!
