This probably would have sat on the shelf for a while, if it hadn't been for the January weather theme in the Ultimate Challenge 2008. I rather enjoyed it, despite it being a very masculine, adventure at sea/abroad kind of book, which usually turns me off. Wilbur Smith writes good stories, although it was a little bit too long.
