This is the only horror book I have read that literally made me jump! The climax is done entirely from the perspective of a blind person and so I'll be interested to see the Red Dragon movie. In Manhunter, an earlier movie adoptation (predates Silence of the Lambs adoptation) the climax is entirely different to the book. That said, I really like the Manhunter movie, mostly for its atmospheric music by Shriekback and great visuals.

Found the book at my work in the cafe, Im not usally a big reader but definitly plan to read it sounds like an interesting book.

Excellent book loved ever intense moment of it great!!Cant wait to see the movie. Have taken the book with me overseas to Australia and left it in a hotel apartment for some lucky person to find.
