Bird by Bird : Some Instructions on Writing and Life
5 journalers for this copy...
I thought I'd registered this book earlier. I'm taking it to tonight's meetup with the London Renegades at the Stamford Arms.
Wonderful book. If you've ever wanted to write, this book will give you the push you need to make those dreams a reality.

A guide to writing, with lots of principles laid out, and also ruminations on the author's own life experiences.
Going to take to a BC games meeting tonight, and see if someone else would like to read it.

I met with some fellow BookCrossers for a board game session in the pub last night and being BookCrossers, one of them brought a book to release. (What, only one?!). This looks interesting - I like to read writers writing about the craft. Thanks Londonmet!
I enjoyed this. I have to admit I'm a bit of a sucker for the genre - maybe one of these days I'll actually sit down and write. This is easy to read and there are some real gems of truth in there.
Pikcked this up at the UnConvention - what a prize!!! Thank you so much for taking it, Fire-Dragon.
I read another book by Anne Lamott a couple of years ago and really loved her writing style, and though i didn't add her to my wish list I;'ve been hoping to read more by her ever since. Didn't spot this on the book table till right near the end of the afternoon and I was a very happy bunny :0)
Thanks!

Have to admit I got halfway through this one and then lost interest :(
I'm moving house soon and having a huge cull of books. I'm hoping to find a local bookcrosser or an OBCZ to donate this to.
