This is a great book about two young men who choose to live as "homeless" people for four months. They gained some great insight into God's faithfulness and the all too frequent failings of the Christian community in response to human need.
If only we would all trust and obey God the way Mike Yankoski and Sam Purvis did! A great book that shines a light on the plight of homelessness and the lack of compassion in America toward the homeless. This book should be a mustread for every Christian serious about their faith! Plan to pass to a young man with a heart for God's people.
Wow This book is amazing, I hope that everyone who picks it up gets as much out of it as I did. There is so much love and true emotion expressed in this book. It is just a shame that the love was not coming from those who proclaim that they are Christians. It gives you a new respect for the lords words "lay it all down and follow me."
