This hardcover is about an inch thick and in pretty good condition considering how many reader's hands it must have passed through over the years. There is a stamp inside that says "Vanderhoof Elementary School Library".

I am 12 years old. I will be taking the book on a family sailing trip. I will leave it in one of the many book exchange places.

I just turned 11 years old. Sometime in the second week of August, 2006, my mom and I found the book in the washroom at the Telegraph Harbour Marina on Thetis Island. Someone was leaving the washroom just as we walked in and my mom was about to run after her to ask if she had left a book behind. When she saw the label she remembered an article that she had read about books being released into the wild for others to find and read. We started reading the book at Capernwray Harbour where we were on vacation. We got a little busy when we returned from our vacation and the book sat on the shelf until tonight. We will read parts of it together and parts of it seperately. We will send it with someone on a plane when we are finished with it.
