This book arrived with another in the mail today.
Looks like a quick funny read.
I will read it and save it for the convention.

Picked up from the huge pile of books at the welcome evening of the fabulous Dunedin Convention. Actually, I think it may have been thrust into my hands by someone who suggested MrPloppy might like it ;-)
Thanks once again to rarsberry and the rest of the convention team for doing such a great job. Have I mentioned I really enjoyed the convention?

A very cute wee book, with lovely illustrations. I have to take dispute with some of their claims, though:
"Cats don't rip articles out of the newspaper before you've had a chance to read it" - no, but Ming has been known to shred them.
"Cats know when to stop eating" - Saffy doesn't!
"Cats don't leave crumbs" - you obviously haven't seen the state of our kitchen floor after the cats have had their breakfast!
"Cats don't leave hair on the soap" - they leave it everywhere else, though!
"Cats don't interrupt" - yes they do! Usually by jumping on the keyboard just before you hit "post".
"When cats get sick, they do it quietly" - not Saffy - we are regularly woken up by her loudly coughing up a furball, or vomiting after she didn't know when to stop eating.
"Cats know when to be quiet" - except for Ming, who likes to throw his toy mice against the wall and leap up after them at 2 am.
"Cats have the good sense to stay out of the rain" - Ming doesn't. He comes in looking all wet and bedraggled after even a brief shower.
"Cats don't slam the screen door" - no, but George trying to fit himself through the cat-flap can make a bit of a racket!
"When you bring in the mail, none of it is for your cat" - this was true before I joined bookcrossing, but now Ming, Saffy and George sometimes receive gifts from foreign cats.
