Sending to the Melbourne BC convention.
Gratefully received, to be released at the convention in October. Thanks from the convention committee.
This book was in my goody bag I got at the convention. I have been meaning to read this author for a while, so now I get my chance.
So it took me two years to get to, but I finally read this book! I quite enjoyed the story, but tended to skim over some of the parts where the characters thought about each other. I don't want to give too much away here, but I got how they felt, these parts seemed repetitive.
The Bronze Horseman is mentioned regularly in this book - but not referring to her other book, so I think I will have to read that one too. I don't think the books are related, just guessing that the Bronze Horseman is a Russian idea used in both books.

Taking to a arty club to see if anyone wants to read this.
One of my friends read and enjoyed this but did not sign up and journal the book. Am bringing back to July meeting in case anyone here is interested.
I borrowed this from my friend. We think she got it at the Great Book Swap at the State Library in 2011 or I might have given it to her after taking it home from a meet-up....?
We went to see Paullina Simons speak about Children of Liberty - which is a prequel to The Bronze Horseman - when she visited Adelaide in November last year.
This is the second time I have read The Bridge to Holy Cross. I read Children of Liberty then re-read “The Bronze Horseman” and it was nice to revisit Tatiana and Alex falling in love from Alexander’s perspective.
I borrowed this and The Summer Garden from my friend so I could finish the series. I'm returning them to her when I visit her this evening. She has the whole series but she hasn't read them so The Bridge to Holy Cross may join her permanent collection.....at least until she reads them!
