With the Christmas party season upon us, this might just be the book everyone needs...
I can't see myself using any of the tips and tricks in it, really - I think you'd have to be pretty confident to go up to a complete stranger at a party and say something like "If we were to make a xerox of this party, what position would you be in?" (one of the suggested conversational opening lines!) Hmm, maybe I'll just stick to my usual party technique of hanging round the edges hoping I can go home soon...
It did make for reasonably amusing reading, though.
