Kate Brannigan is truly welcome. Hot on one-liners, Chinese food, tabloid papers and Thai boxing, she is refreshingly funny' Daily Mail Kate Brannigan, feisty Manchester-based PI, is back, investigating the bizarre case of the missing conservatories. Before Long she's up to her neck in crooked land deals, mortgage scams, financial chicanery -- and murder. But when a favour for a friend puts Kate's own life in danger, bizarre is not the first word she thinks of...

This copy is a 2002 paperback issued as part of a promotion by my local newspaper of thrillers, and has the cover here, not the one on My Bookshelf which is of the "normal" edition.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

My aim is to release a book into every letter box in my street for Christmas. Originally I was going to do them all on Christmas Eve, but when I realised that there are more than 200 I thought it might be a good idea to do it in stages, commencing two weeks beforehand. So I am going to try to release a few every day on my way home, subject to the weather being fine as I don't have enough plastic bags for them all.

This is one of the books, but I can't say what letterbox it will go into, as I am just adding it to the pile and then grabbing a few every day to release as I walk down the street. In fact I can't even say for sure what day it will be released, but it will be sometime between now and Christmas, as once in the pile they are being distributed at random.

Oh, and for the purists - I know that part of my street is actually in Albion, but I can't be bothered trying to keep track of which books went where, so as far as Bookcrossing is concerned, the whole street is in Lutwyche!
