I read this series ages ago. Fascinated by much of them, loved the characters, the pre-history, but also grew incredibly weary of being told the same things over and over and over. Anyway, It's been years, and today there were several later volumes in good shape at the thrift store.... I'll give it another whirl~~

ok, this has been on my tbr shelf for a year and a half....unread. In the essense of paring down to what I might actually get around to in this lifetime, I've decided it's time to pass this series on (and concentrate on books that haven't had one reading yet). So when looking for books to send cheryllr for her obcz, this seemed a good choice--in theory, an obcz seems a more likely place for a series of thick books to be taken and read than simply setting them into the wild.
