From the back cover:
While investigating the fatal overdose of a young woman, freelance pathologist and forensic physician Dr Anya Crichton discovers a striking similarity between the case and a number of other apparent suicides. All the victims went missing for a period of time before taking their own lives in desperate circumstances.
As Anya delves deeper, the gruesome pathological findings point to the frightening possibility that the deaths of these women were not only linked, but part of a particularly malicious game. One in which she is unwittingly playing a key role...

First off I hadn't realised this book had been on Mnt. TBR so long!
I Throughly enjoyed this debut novel although I had reservations about it being set in Australia. The only thing that mislead me a couple of times was the place names! The main character had been living in the UK and so some of the places mentioned (Newcastle for one) confused me to whether it was UK or Australia!
The rest of the novel ran smoothly and there was a choice of 'who done it' to within the last 50 pages or so. Nice set of clues to help along the way, and a good story line that left it open enough for future books including Anya Crichton.
