This was passed onto me by flajol during a very lovely and relaxing weekend in York. I read it on the train coming home. I found it a great book until the last chapter which I thought was rushed and frankly spoilt the book for me. The book could easily have stood without that addition. I'd be interested to see what the next reader thinks. Will offer at the next meet up.

Very good, but I'll have to start again. I got stuck.
picked up at the Edinburgh Bookcrossing Meetup on the 12th of April, apologies for the delay in making an entry. Have heard great things about this and am pushing it way ahead of other TBR's on my various piles and saving it for my holiday in May!

I shall be leaving this somewhere in the vicinity of Queens University, I'm staying at The Elms. I will be over from Scotland on the afternoon of Thursday 14th till early evening on Friday 15th June. I’m attending the RaPal Conference 2007 which for the first time is to be held in Northern Ireland. (RaPal = Research and Practise in Adult Literacy.) Only my second visit to Belfast and I’m looking forward to it so much! Yahoo!

OK doing a spot of de-cluttering and of course cannot bear to interfere with all the book piles I do so long to read, one day. However some books have been here way too long… This for example has been sitting by my bedside in one of my, ehem… Action-To-Be-Read piles, (caught BC books, in fact) for a while and I have recently received another copy from a chum so, easy peasy to release this one unread (later once I’ve read a copy I’ll return to insert my thoughts here) NOW this copy is heading off on a journey to be liberated in Belfast!
