An interesting story of an interesting life. I was moved by Angelou's retelling of her childhood and am interested in reading her other books.

It took me a little while to get to this book but I'm so glad it made it to the top of Mt. TBR - it's such a fabulous book! Thank you so much for sharing it - I absolutely loved it! It's beautifully written and all the more poignant for being real. A wonderfully gorgeous read!
