This is about the authors memories of his life as a school inspector in North Yorkshire.
How in the school nativity play, the Virgin Mary was found to have "nits"!
Apparently, the author is a born raconteur with a keen ear for the absurd and an eye for the ludicrous!
So it should be a canny read!
