A warm and comfortable read, just like putting on a nice old pair of slippers! I have enjoyed this book before and loved reading it again. A tale of love and life and how to deal with change. Undemanding and fun.

Really enjoyed this book - a lot of thoughts and feelings that I found I could relate to and think to myself "I know what he means." A change from my usual blood and gore reading material, but a welcome one!

I didn't get it. I couldn't really see what the story was apart from a guy who was self-absorbed and pining for his dead wife and who decided to fill a meaningless life with meaningless sex. Or was I missing something? It just left me ambivalent and wondering why it was written.
