Red Sky in the Morning (Tape)

It was actually better than I expected. A story of one girls struggle to bring up her daughter alone and what circumstances brought her to that.
Reserving for my Audiobook box

Loved this audio book, got hooked into the story right away and the accent of the reader added to the interesting saga.Kept me entetained on a long ride to the city on a wet, windy day. It's the first time I listened in the car, I usually save them for sewing. Now I find they're great for travel. Thanks again Smurphie for sharing this great story with me.

I hadn't high hopes for this book, but I enjoyed it more than I'd thought I would. Anna's story was interesting and I liked the fact that her past wasn't revealed until the second part of the book. I also enjoyed the reader's accent, especially the voices she made for Eddie and his wife.
The book is now reserved for christina82.

Finished listening to this on my way home from work. I must say I really liked the story - and enjoyed listening to it. I loved the voices that the reader did - and the accents - they were great.
I think I have to track down a few more books by this author.
Thank you so much for passing this on to me.
This will soon be on its way to the winner of the audiobook sweepstake.

This was an enjoyable and satisfying story that was read very well by Susan Jameson. She did so many distinctive voices, that I had to remind myself that she was the only one reading.
After reading the other JEs I knew that I shouldn't judge the audiobook by it's title and cover.... and it certainly isn't as kitschy as those might suggest. An interesting story, very well read, that kept me hooked from the beginning.
Journal Entry 21 by ApoloniaX at A fellow BookCrosser, A RABCK -- Controlled Releases on Friday, April 23, 2010
Came today in a wonderful package with plenty of stuff to ease the dissapointment from not being able to go to the convention in the Netherlands. Due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland and the ash cloud that was produced our flight was cancelled. Thank you very much, Apolonia.
I love the fact that this book has had so many readers. I just don’t know if I can find any future ones. Does anyone really listens to audiobooks on cassette tape any more? I will of course keep it safe in the mean time I look for a new reader.
