Really great book! It's astounding to me how the women would let things like this happen to them. I think I saw the movie once too. It wasn't anywhere near as good as the book.

It sat in that Allstate office for TWO WEEKS. So, I took it back and tried to remove the wild book symbol. I plan on bringing it to the next BC Meetup. Someone there should appreciate it. *humph*

Received in the mail 12/27/02. Have been wanting to read this for a while, finally got a copy. Thanks so much, Watchgirl! I can understand how the situation may have come about. It seems it was more a matter of small changes coming slowly, until everything was in place for the big change to take place. All women should read this and see what the world *could* be like if we are not vigilant. As is said, "...the next generation of women will accept it willingly, for they have nothing to compare it with..." Very scary.
