From Booklist
Queen Elizabeth I, aka Betsy Taylor, is adjusting to life after death as a vampire, but she still needs a job. To satisfy her lust for sexy shoes, she lands one in Macy's, but one night she is attacked by zit-remedy-scented slayers who are targeting female vampires. While trying to find out who is behind the plot, she befriends an adolescent gang called the Blade Warriors and the kindly priest who leads them. Betsy's unwanted consort, sexy Eric Sinclair, king of the vampires, doesn't know how to deal with a vampire queen who sneezes at holy water and wears a cross around her neck, and a charming subplot involving a mysterious five-year-old girl in saddle shoes adds poignancy to this wickedly clever and amusing romp. Davidson's witty dialogue, fast pacing, smart plotting, laugh-out-loud humor, and sexy relationships make this a joy to read. And Betsy's second adventure, following her debut in Undead and Unwed [BKL Mr 15 04], will have readers begging for more. Diana Tixier Herald

Maybe a little better than the first one and I certainly do want to read the rest of the series. I find Sink Lair very very attractive.
Lending to WatersideKatt
Sent to Lemonitsa from the ClubVlad VBB yesterday
Arrived this morning. I''m very interested to see what this series is all about. :)
Thanks very much, NeedSun!

Betsy needs getting used to. :) I had fun reading this book yesterday and today. Yes, I finally picked it up after almost a year. Even worse, I was supposed to read it a couple of weeks ago because I am sending it on to Pyan on BookObsessed. She was supposed to receive it from another member but it got lost in flight. I volunteered to 'share-it-forward'. I was occupied with preparations for Greek Easter so all reading was put on hold.
I liked this book. Mind you, I haven't read them in order, and I know that is a no-no, but still, I found myself laughing out loud in many places, one of which was Betsy's Corey Hart comment. You're right Betsy, so very '80s. BUT, I understand completely because Corey's concert in Calgary was my very first concert and it was amazing!
Now to find the ones I haven't read...
