Oh well, that puts paid to my brilliant idea of writing an ABC book with alliterative animals, from Antony the Anteater to Zelda the Zebra. To think I had all the names worked out and safely stored on my computer ;-)
There is a lot of useful information in this book. I see that before I attempt writing anything I shall have to spend some time browsing the shelves in the Children's Department.
I am not quite at the end, but when I get there, may possibly offer this up as a RABCK.

Finished it yesterday morning. And here is a strange coincidence: I went into our production department, and found my colleague with a book on his desk: Illustrating Children's Books! (it is beautiful and I will have to buy it for myself).
Am wondering if this is a sign from above. Should we do a book together? ;-)
