I love Ben Elton. I love everything that he has ever written (and that I have read) and this is no exception. Funny and thought provocing, great story and great use of language.
I read this book in Bali on my way around the world.

I actually haven't started it yet- I was approached in poppies two by two (irish???) backpackers who offered to swap books. Being here over a week already and having read all my books was a good enough reason to jump at the chance. Having heard of the book crossing project beforehand, I was stoked when I opened it up to see the web address and explaination in the front, and rushed to a dodgy iinet cafe to log on. I'm a huge fan of Ben Elton, however, so I'm sure it'll be ace. It's also inspired me (Wow- I sound like a huge wanker) to release one of my favourite books back into the wilds- Whit, by Ian Banks.
Hopefully, in between being chased by stray dogs, riding on dodgy motorcycles and having daily bomb threat rumours sweep the hotel, I'll be able to read Past Mortem and pass it on before I head home to Perth....
