I'm on my way to Pittsburgh PA to the AASL (American Association of School Librarians) conference with a load of books to release out into the wild (or the hotel or convention center! LOL)... this is one of them. YAY! you found it!

i liked this book A LOT! very funny....LOL funny! it made me laugh, cry, and even get mad at one point!! (i did NOT agree with her big decision) but then i chose the other way to go...

I thought is was a very insightful book. It had a very realistic ending. My sister has always struggled with her weight - all her life and it was enlightening to read something from this perspective.

I did agree with her decision. I might not have 15 years ago - but after you have lost a child, my feelings completely changed.

I found this book at the Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh in Oct. 2005. Took it with me to Orlando on a Disney vacation with my husband and three boys. Wanted to get it finished an release in Florida but didn't finish until on the plane. Released in Philadelphia airport Nov. 25.
