Spring 1666 and the Great Plague reaches Eyam. An extraordinary novel based on the true story of a Derbyshire village which isolated itself in a fateful, tragic quarantine.
I really loved this novel. It was beautifully written; warm, vivid, tragic. It brings home the enormity of the human spirit and what it means to be truly courageous.

I caught this book in Kew Gardens while visiting with my two sons. It sounds intriguing.
I love the idea of book crossing and will definitely release it again once I have read it.

I really liked this book, very thought provoking. It shows how different people deal with difficult situations. Some give up, some help, some try and get something out of it... Good read, recommended. I released the book in Terminal 2 on Friday, hope someone found it! I released it before going through security.
