With the recent interest in cricket, I picked this off my physical shelf to read.
I finished reading this September 25th 2005.
Given the recent Ashes series this was a chance to see a time when England weren't (ahem) so good. I had to stop myself from writing in the margins with updates and referencing future events that developed as part of the era that Atherton played in.
A good book for anyone interested in Atherton and cricket, but doesn't give much away in the area of his private life.

Brown paper packages tied up with strings... these are a few of my favourite things ... especially when they contain books!
(just be thankful you can't hear me sing!)
Many thanks Mole ... looking forward to this, and I might have to hide it from my mum if I want to read it first! LOL
