Yeee-haaaw! I am so ridiculously psyched to have received this (AND Number Three!) Thank you, thank you Tanya!! You are the best.
This second book in the Stephanie Plum series was just as entertaining as the first one. I *really* get a kick out of this character, her Jersey sensibilities, and her wacky family. The snappy banter and sexual tension she shares with Joe Morelli are pretty fun, too. ;-)
The plot of this installment involved a lot of funeral home action and there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. This was the second book I started AND finished over the long holiday weekend at the beach. Fast, fun reading.
Thanks again to my buddy and fellow Plum fan TBlack for sharing this with me!! I have to read a ring book next, but am soooo savoring the thought of starting in on Three To Get Deadly after that. Woo-hoo!

I never did get a chance to read this book ~ unfortunately! I put it on BookMooch.com just to see what would happen and wham! it got mooched. So it's off to Indiana to start a new life. Here's hoping it'll get journaled again sometime in the future.
