Where in the Hell is Sourdough, Alaska

A pretty good book about a family living in a small area (but still on the road system) in rural Alaska. I picked it up because I used to work in that area and am very familiar with it, but was interested in the perspective of someone who grew up there. Will be releaseing in the next couple of weeks while on my travels.
oddly fascinating. 2 parents and 5 bonehead sons living such a self-restricted life that the author is able to convey the tiniest details of their existence as a unique social group.
just got it in the mail today. looks encouraging.
well I for one really liked it. as a comedy or a.... umm.... ahhh... anthropologic work? everyone will understand this guy, whether they're weirdos from alaska or not.
gave to a friend today.

Ijust got the book today from a friend and have yet to read it. I will make a final entry once I have passed the book on describing how I sent it off and what I thought of the book.
This book was an easy reading, entertaining story of a family that lives nearly isolated in the sticks of Alaska. The family and their stories are pretty funny. I would recomend this book to anyone looking for a quick, funny book. I will be giving the book to my friend, who I am sure will enjoy it as much as I did.
