Smells Like Black Roses

"Smells Like Black Roses" is a character study of the self destructive life of an alcoholic cop. This is not a crime novel to be read as fast as your fingers can turn the pages. It is a read to be disected. It makes the reader ask himself some serious questions, and sometimes the honest answers can be disturbing.
You can hope you don't see yourself in this book, but there has to be wonder if the author did.
We must remember, fiction is only in the mind of the writer, isn't it?
