While the title of the book says the word puzzles are for kids, some of these are hard!
This is available as a bookring! Anyone, adult or not, is welcome to join! Once you recieve the book, you may choose up to three puzzles to complete. Make sure to write your screenname next to the completed puzzle, and send the book on! Try not to take all the easy puzzles... there aren't that many to begin with. :-)
There are 6 levels:
A - Thumb Suckers
B - Pencil Chewers
C - Nail Nibblers
D - Head Bangers
E - Teeth Grinders
F - Aaargh!
Here's a puzzle from the back of the book (level F):
Puzzle 185
Look at the word below. It's actually Monrovian for "Mine's a large cheeseburger with extra relish." No, that's a lie. But the letters do have one strange property. What is it?

Answer: (yes, I had to look this one up...) when vertically reversed, they mean the same
Oh. So that's what it was. These things are always embarrassing because the answer is so obvious once you hear it! :-)

The MENSA book has arrived. It looks like a lot of fun. I will read it as soon as I can!
If I were younger -- these puzzles would be great. However, as an adult, they get a bit repetative. Once one knows the trick to solving one, one can solve all of the others of that type with out much more thought.
