This book focuses on Henry Pierce, who runs a tech company. He gets involved in a mystery when he starts receiving phone calls at his new apartment, calls apparently intended for the previous resident.

I like Michael Connelly books a lot, but this one wasn't my cup of tea. I prefer his books with the Harry Bosch character. Still, I hope whoever finds it enjoys it.

Her bag felt much heavier as she left the table. She had only attended to talk in friendly company and yet there it was! Another one, in her bag, how could she explain this away? “I didn’t intend to” eyebrows raised, “Though, it was an easy seduction!”

Yup, another BC meeting and another book taken home, against cries of, “OOOH I better not!”

OK I am doing a spot of de-cluttering and though I cannot easily bring myself to touch some of the teetering book piles, I have meant to read for so long, some books have been here way too long… I have a host of wee, ehem… Action-To-Be-Read piles, (BookCrossing books registered by other BookCrossers, in fact) and I am clearing books from them this week. I have not read this book yet but later once I’ve read a copy I’ll return to add my thoughts. NOW this copy is on stand-by to be liberated at the end of June!

Enjoyed this much more than I expected to, really gripped me and made me read well past bedtime..........
