I enjoyed this book. It was a nice, easy read.
The author's idea of heaven kind of depressed me...the thought of Heaven just being a place to look back on one's life to try to make sense of it, nothing more to do than sit back and reflect and live in a memory. Everybody having a different Heaven...no interacting with others unless they were people that affected you or you affected them, and there seemed to be no purpose in one's afterlife...it is a little disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it was an enjoyable, entertaining book, and I liked the character and learning about his life, a life that he thought was wasted working at an amusement park. The moral to this seemed to be that even if you don't think your life is significant, and you have not contributed anything to the well-being of the world, you are incorrect, as every life affects another life.
Another good one to read about what Heaven may be like is Deadline by Randy Alcorn.
I am adding this to the Wishlist bookbox.
