A fascinating read, especially regarding the information about conclave. FYI - this is the book that precedes the Da Vinci Code.

Great read - really enjoyed it!! Only downside was the american cheesiness of the protagonist but overall a really exciting and factually interesting book! Fascinating religious insights...Given it to Archer5 to read....

I have to say that I was a bit underwhelmed by this book. I understand that it was written before the Da Vinci Code, and it appears that Dan Brown was 'warming up' in Angels and Demons, as I think the Da Vinci Code was better written (marginally) than A&D, and I can't really see what all the fuss has been about.

Whilst I was never in danger of not finishing either book, as they were fairly engaging, I must say that they were pretty pulpy, and not the kind of thing I would rave about as great literature.

But there you go...
