Interesting story probably autobiographical about life during WW1 and relationships and life. Set paris and London and NY a good read.
The book was slow to start with and like the author I could not wait until his real life began. I feel it is more a man's book or else I do not understand men which is quite possible. There were specific parts that really touched my heart. I think it is worth reading for those alone and as the cover suggests it is a jthrough the twentieth century.
