This is an excellent reference book with step-by-step directions and photographs to help a skater develop their technique.
This book is for beginning to intermediate skater, and not just for young skaters; it is for anyone needed some guidance with all the basics, from stroking to Mohawks, through to advanced jumps.
If you are a skating enthusiast or juat want to pass this along to a skating friend, send me a PM. I'm happy to share.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

Left on the bleachers close to entrance to ice.

It's my birthday, and I am going skating for the first time in a long time! I hope this book gets picked up by a young skater at this afternoon's session.

Bookcrossing is all about sharing books and 'making the world a library'. Normally I would say "read this book and then, one day, pass it along to someone else", but this particular book might be something the finder would want to keep and just add to their own book collection. If so, please consider it a gift and enjoy.
And...welcome to Bookcrossing.

This is a great idea. I'd never heard of it before.... The girl who found it in Tuscon was in the Albany, NY airport and saw me and came and gave it to me. I am 9 years old and like to skate too. We are reading it on our trip to Las Vegas, NV and then we plan to pass it along to someone at the airport when we leave here.

I caught the book from the daughter of my mom's high school friend. They were visiting from New York over the summer. I read the book and it was pretty interesting. Now I will pass it on!

Book was left in our library night book return. As a Children's Librarian, I can attest to the high quality and usefulness of books published by DK. We own most of what they put out. I intend to find an out-of-town visitor to pass this on to.
