From the back of the book:

During a huge storm, a tree is ripped from the ground and Amy knows something incredible has been unearthed-a giant that has woken up from its thousand-year sleep. Amy and Giant have a deep, mysterious connection and can communicate without words, but her older brother, Peter, can't understand Giant at all. As Amy tries to protect Giant from the grown-up world, Peter is both fascinated and frightened. He decides he must tell their parents, causing Amy and Giant to make a mad dash for their lives.

Eh, wasn't an outstanding book for me, but then again, it is more of a little kid book. For what it was, I thought it was just average. But hey, if it sounds good to you, it's worth reading!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

To whoever finds this book, please log! Then you can place it in another cache, give it to a friend, wild release it, whatever. I don't really care what you do with it after you log it. (It can be completely anonymous, just let me know you found it!) And if you like geocaching and reading, you'll probably like this site, too. (It's free if you want to become a member. Here's the link: http://bookcrossing.com/friend/kiwi123). And that's about it! Happy caching and happy reading!

PS. As you can probably tell, these books are kind of like travel bugs. You can see where they go, who's had them, etc. It's just a fun way to get rid of books and see what happens to them. And so far, I've have pretty good luck with putting books in geocaches, so if you want to release it again, geocaches are a pretty good bet. Hope you enjoy the book!

I picked up the book in the Finding Hutchinson Geocache (www.geocaching.com) on Sunday, 9/25/05 before church. I read it on the way home to Albuquerque, NM.
Even tho it was written for 8-12 year-olds, I found it interesting reading (I'm 61).
I plan to drop the book off in a local Geocache.

CAUGHT IN HUTCHINSON PARK, DENVER CO USA
