The Brothers Karamazov

This was a tough one for the first 100 pages--I almost gave up. But after that it turned into a great adventure and murder mystery. Beneath the surface Dostoevsky addresses issues concerning religion, especially Christianity. For those who are like myself and have questions regarding the existence, importance and nature of a God, this is a must read. I was most touched by the author's point that whether there is a God or not, a society would be in shambles if the majority didn't believe in one. Very profound. This is a 700 page novel and is not an easy read, but read as much or as little as you can take at one sitting, and stick to it. It took me two months to finish, and I'm extremely glad that I did. Will release this soon.
