The Back of the Book

In 1693, the settlers on the small Maine island of Sanctuary were betrayed to their enemies and slaughtered. Since then, the island has known three hundred years of peace.

Followed me home when releasing at Centre for Womans Health - naughty book! Go sit on Mt TBR...

This book took forever to get into and I'm not sure it was really worth the effort. Too many characters and too many plot threads to start out with, I couldn't keep track of who was who, or where they were.

It did all come together in the second half of the book, but you never get to know any of the characters well enough to feel much sympathy for them or be too bothered what their fate will be.

Will release somewhere when I'm out this afernoon.

RELEASE NOTES:

I made it to page 150 which took a bit of doing , but then could take no more. A dreadful book, voices that don't sound real and violence for its own sake.

Wish I had read the comment from the releasee before even making an attempt.

I guess I'll release it again. I certainly wouldn't inflict it on anyone I know.
