The book is about a boy named Joey, who is, as he puts it, "wired", just like his father, and his father's mother before him. Joey tries to be good, but sometimes he loses control and something goes wrong. Joey has never seen his father, who "bounces around the world", and doesn't remember his mother, really, until, in the beginning of the book, she returns. Joey has some hilarious misadventures in the book; I won't tell you what happens in the end, you have to find out. :P

This book, while being a little funny, does not have a very good plot. What I did get from it is a sort of message; that there are people whose lives are so much worse than ours, people who are not in complete control of their mind, and that we should be grateful for what we have. This idea (or message) was not, however, expressed much, it is just what I drew from the book.

To tell the truth, I wouldn't read this book again, and wouldn't particularily advise others to read it, either.
