The very first Orson Scott Card book I've read, though I've heard the name a lot and I liked it. Not exactly Greg Bear, but what do you want? I found it on a bookshelf in Seattle visiting my parents where I started reading it there. I travelled back with me to Echo Park here in Los Angeles and now goes into the hands of madman and roommate Eric Brown. Where it goes after that is up to HIM, it's outta my hands now!

loved it. place it among the modernish classics of sci fi, up there with stars my destination, slant and sundiver. i like the way the last guy said "I travelled back with me" - very sci-fi-ish!!! ;

read riddley walker or die incomplete. i also dig voyage to arcturus.

Great read. Loved the insight into the aliens' mentality at the end. Card does a great job showing the development of Ender.

Got this as a "hand-off" from a fellow BXer/co-worker. Have added it to the queue of books on Mt. Toobie Red. Hope to read it soon.
