This is the most wonderful, true story about the most misunderstood animal on the face of this earth... bats. Any creature that will eat 3,000 to 7,000 insects per night, including mosquitoes, is a good neighbor. After you read this book you will want your own bat house to encourage these furry friends to live in your yard.

For the love of Sunshine, and many thanks to the author, Amanda Lollar. If you ever get down south, make sure you visit Amanda and her furry friends at Bat World in Mineral Springs, Texas. Or visit Bat World in cyberspace at

I have two copies of this wonderful little "Sunshine book" and have released one into the wild and kept this other for my own personal collection so that I may lend it out to special friends that I know will appreciate it. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did and that some day they may be inspired to perhaps build a bat house in their yard, or help educate others about the importance of this misunderstood species. For the love of Sunshine.
