okay book to good book towards the end. i couldn't identify to well with the main character, Carole. She is involved in something weird and very scary as a teenager and then allows her past mistake to rule the rest of her life and lives in fear of the others involved telling her secret. I found myself getting frustrated with her for not standing up for herself. A couple of times I thought I should stop reading because her naivety was irritating but I never did stop, I had to know what happened. I ended up being glad I finished the book.
