This focuses on Meriwether Lewis by the noted historian Stephen Ambrose. The book is going into a box to the OBCZ in Baghdad.

I got this Lewis and Clark book from an USAF officer who had been in Iraq. I was inspired to learn more and L&C after visiting the St Louis arch a few weeks ago. Then this book appeared. I grabbed it and read it in min time. Great read. Good early 1800s historical perspective from an author who not only researched, but literally lives the expedition. btw the movie in the arch museum is quite good.
