The first Iris Johansen novel I'd ever read concerned Eve Duncan and the little girl, Jane. This was a good follow-up to their relationship.
I was a bit annoyed by all the red herrings in this story. I won't give anything away for the next reader but I don't think I'll be reading another book by this author any time soon.
However, a line on page 146 made me laugh out loud.
"..Now wait a minute. I respect Bill Clinton.."
