This Weekly Readers Books publication doesn't even have an AISN! It was printed in 1955 and even the paper is so old it feels like cotton! This is a paperback book and it probably was never meant to last 50 years...but here it is ready to prove that it has what it takes to join the ranks of WILD books! Rowr!
Within the pages are the words that build a cute, but simplistic story. (Think Dick and Jane Basal Readers!) Any child learning to read will find the content simple and fun, but uninspiring. I imagine this book could really get a kid talking about his/her favorite dog. Hmmmm...gotta think of a cute dog themed release. Something that will last.... Hmmmmm.
